AltRider Crash Bars Kit for the BMW F 650 GS Twin

Rough terrain can get the better of anyone, which is why we designed the AltRider Crash Bars for the BMW F 650 GS Twin. Made from one inch stainless steel, it is sure to protect your engine in a fall.

These crash bars provide extensive coverage for the F 650 GS Twin, guarding not only the engine itself but also the radiator and front plastics.

The bars are built with precision-manufactured mounts that fit directly into the existing motor mount, creating a robust connection that is secured with existing OEM fasteners on the top engine mounts. Torx fasteners are provided for the bottom mounts.

Unlike other crash bars, these do not use flanges or weak tabs and are not hung: they are actually mounted. Crafted with hand TIG welding and a shot peen satin finish, these stainless bars will hold up in spills and never even show signs of rust.

Protect your clutch cover, radiator, and front fairings with the system that doesn’t deflect or bend.

Also available in Black.

-Compatible with BMW large enduro skid plate

-Not currently compatible with Remus header

  • Comes with the Torx fasteners needed for the bottom mounts

NOTE: Your t50 socket must be able to fit inside a 0.7” ID tube 1” deep. All ½” drive sockets will be too big to fit, as will some 3/8” drive sockets. An L-handle T-50 key is the easiest solution.

    perfect.
    best crashbars available for this bike—period—they work really well with add-on highway pegs. install was simple and went without issues. fit and finish is exact. only bars made that have a sleeve that fits into the frame hole to engine mount—no spacers. torque specs for 2010 F650GS—because BMW won't publish this stuff: engine to frame primary bolt—40nm lower crashbar anchor bolts on engine case—22nm thanks altrider! one note—the overview states that these bars come with torx fasteners for the lower mounting points....my set came with allen head fasteners...no biggy but they were not torx as listed...
