Confident riding is important, and so is confidence in your side stand. With the AltRider Side Stand Foot for the Suzuki V-Strom 650, you’ll never have to worry if your bike will sink and fall in soft ground.

Made from hefty 1/8 inch stainless steel, this foot features 3D tread, creating an extremely easy-to-deploy side stand. With the most ergonomic design on the market, the side stand is easy to grab with your boot even while on the bike. The AltRider foot also clamps down on the actual foot of the side stand with Torx fasteners, because we took time to create a design that will remain tight even after years of use. No more rattling or stripped fasteners.

DL650 sidestand foot

This thing rocks in the soft stuff, it definitely keeps the bike from taking a nap when you leave it parked on grass or soft dirt. Installation is simple and the included hardware is quality stuff. If you ride aggressively on the street you will want to be cautious after mounting it. I found out the hard way that the side stand foot can touch down before the peg feeler in a hard left turn. No harm no foul, but it definitely took me off guard. I had a passenger at the time, I don't know if this will occur when riding single.
