Constructed of impact resistant 4.75 mm anodized aluminum, this skid plate works only with the AltRider Crash Bars to provide ideal protection for off road conditions. Your exhaust header pipe is also fully protected without sacrificing ground clearance. The oil cooler is well protected while still allowing optimal air flow.

Made with the rider’s convenience in mind, the skid plate can remain installed during oil changes on the center-stand or side-stand since the relief is cut so oil can be drained while the bike is upright or on the side-stand. Included with the skid plate is a redesigned rear bracket that allows for easier installation and more overall strength. The skid plate matches up perfectly to the V-Strom crash bars using hidden fasteners for a clean, finished look. This product is also available in Silver.
