Going to Battle

Going to Battle

2011 BMW F800 GS This is me riding my new bike home from the dealership. My wife snapped the photo at 60 mph(using a hands free camera of course):) You can see the Portland Oregon skyline in the truck mirror. This is part of my daily commute I-84 eastbound. I commute rain or shine 5 days a week covering just under 50 miles round trip. For me the motorcycle is freedom and a way to recover on my way home from a tough day at work. Its hard to come home in a bad mood after a good ride. I've told my wife that I every time I put on my riding gear I'm going to battle with the other commuters. You've got to keep you head in the fight and always remember losing isn't an option. I've got a great uncle with a 1975 BMW R90/6 with just under a 100,000 miles. I'm hoping to beat his number.

Canadian Adventure

Canadian Adventure

I organized a ride of 60 intrepid adventurers into Eastern Ontario over Memorial Day weekend 2011. It was the wettest condition the locals had every seen. It made for some great stories around the campfires. We're planning on doing it again next year.
