Hawaiian Hail Mary

This picture is from a ride I did on Hawaii in 2005. We rode the South coast that day, so it was mostly lava from recent Kilauea eruptions and lots of beautiful ocean. If I fell there would be no chance of climbing back up, so I was only willing to give it one shot. I was told later that there's lots of Tiger Sharks in that area. Photo was taken by Blane Chambers

This photo was taken on the bike's first ride after its restoration last year. What a fun machine to ride on quiet country roads in New England. This one is my wife's favorite of the three bikes we have. It's a complete joy to ride.

Super Dave
Buck
This is my good buddy, Dave (aka, The Natural) who was riding with us in the George Washington National Forest. He was riding his bad-ass HP2 soooo fast, I missed framing him in the picture as he crossed the stream. He's a great ADV rider, and I need to work on my camera skills (and my ADV skills too)... ;-)

We've all felt this way

We've all felt this way when we find the other side of a trail that, for sure, was going to dead end in the woods.
