Sherando lake National Recreational Area. 12 miles south of Waynesboro, VA in the George Washington National Forest. Ride the Blue Ridge Parkway, Skyline Drive and the Shenandoah Valley.

Rally fee will cover camping for 2 days, Friday night dinner(until it's gone) and dinner Saturday night. A wrist band will be required for the Saturday night chicken dinner. Sat and Sun morning breakfast will be put on by Bosom Buddies, a cancer survivor group. A donation is requested for breakfast.

Children 12 & under free, but if they want sat dinner they will need to buy a dinner ticket (wristband $11). Ride maps available.

Puget Sound Ride for Kids

When you join hundreds of other motorcyclists for this scenic ride through the Washington countryside, you'll have a great time while raising funds for the PBTF's medical research and family support programs! Riders on all makes and models are welcome.

Registration opens at 8 a.m. and closes at 9:45 a.m. The escorted ride starts at 10 a.m. sharp, rain or shine!

The ride will loop back to the start point. After a light lunch, participants will enjoy a Celebration of Life program that features interviews with young brain tumor survivors—the Ride for Kids® "stars" of the day. Award presentations to top fundraisers will follow.

The minimum donation to ride is $35, but the more money you raise, the more premiums you earn.

We also draw for a new Honda motorcycle, AGV helmet, Cardo Scala Rider, Dunlop tire, and Tourmaster luggage. (You must be present to win.)

If you're unable to attend, send your registration form and donations to PBTF, 302 Ridgefield Ct., Asheville, NC 28806. Mark your form "Not Attending" to credit your ride and receive your premiums by mail.

2011 Puget Sound Ride for Kids® Official Drawing Rules

  1. No purchase or contribution necessary. Freewill donation. A donation will not increase your chances of winning.
  2. Must be age 18 or older to enter.
  3. Must be present at time of drawing to win. Photo ID required.
  4. Sponsor will issue one drawing ticket for each $300 raised (limit 25 entries per person). Send your funds to our office at 302 Ridgefield Ct., Asheville, NC 28806. Funds must be postmarked or delivered at least 10 business days before the designated Ride for Kids® event date.
  5. “Funds” include donations made via cash, check, credit card, Firstgiving and Missionfish, as well as qualifying matching gift forms with corresponding donations.
  6. You may also enter without a purchase or contribution by completing a 3″ x 5″ card with your name, complete address, daytime telephone number, date of birth and Ride for Kids® event name, mailed to Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation, Attn: Ride for Kids® Event Drawing, 302 Ridgefield Ct., Asheville, NC 28806. All entries must be handwritten. Mechanically reproduced entries will not be accepted. No purchase or contribution is necessary to receive a drawing ticket. No tickets will be issued after registration closes.
  10. Sponsor will enter all entries into the event drawing. No receipts or stubs will be given to entrants.
  11. Sponsor will draw winners at the conclusion of the Celebration of Life program at each Ride for Kids® event. Must be present to win.
  12. Drawing prize winners may not be an employee, family member, or paid contract vendor of the following: Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation; Honda Motor Co., Ltd., its subsidiaries, affiliates or dealer networks; other major sponsors; or prize-donating entity.

Join us on an exciting paved and dirt road ride exploring Northern New Mexico. You will see why New Mexico is called the Land of Enchantment as it draws you in with incredible history, scenery, culture, and fun twisty roads.

The ride will go from the high alpine mountains to the sage and pinon in colorful deserts. You will feel the meld of the ancient cultures of the Spanish, Hispanic, and Native American in the mission churches, Pueblo adobe architecture, and even historic ruins. Travel through small villages that feel like old Mexico.

Or on old mining routes high in the mountains! The event will base out of Taos Ski Valley, a world-renowned ski resort and summer paradise. Each evening there will be great food, and on Saturday an Oktoberfest!

Aside from the old world charm, the Taos area is also home to a thriving modern day art community.

Ride the Blue Ridge with the Knobbies second rally sponsored by the Knob Mountain Motorcycle Club (Knobbies) and the city of Morganton, NC.

Rally site is the new Catawba Meadows Park in Morganton. Easy access to Interstate 40 and the best riding in the southeastern US. Includes the Blue Ridge Parkway, Snake, Dragin and many more roads that have not yet been named. Primitive tent camping on rally site. RV sites available with some electrical hook-ups, but no sewer. Local campgrounds are nearby with full hook-ups for those that require electricity and sewer. Morganton has plenty of motel space as well. Door prizes, Rally awards, 50/50 drawing and free rally t-shirt for the first 150 registered. Meal provided for Saturday night. Maps will be provided that highlight Dual Sport Rides, GPS tours, and Cruiser rides. Club members can provide details about most of the roads in western NC. In addition, our club members will have long "rode-alongs" for those that wish to have rides with our club members. $40 registration fee at rally.
