To be prepared for any route or any weather, an adventure rider needs excellent protection – for both bike and body. KLIM has got you covered on the second one with its Adventure Rally Jacket.

KLIM used three different kinds of GoreTex when building this jacket, to be sure that each area of your body had the right fit and protection. The jacket’s base is made from SPL600 3L Pro Shell, a heavy weight woven nylon. It’s rugged, breathable, and durably waterproof even in extreme conditions. Talisman 3L Pro Shell protects your shoulders and the back of your lower arms, and is built to provide high levels of impact abrasion resistance. Tiny ceramic plates are laser-welded to the material’s surface, making it fourteen times more abrasion resistant than Kevlar. Armacor 3L Pro Shell is GoreTex’s premium material for motorcycling applications, and KLIM used it liberally on this garment. It is placed on the outer arms, the chest, the abdomen, and across the back to take on whatever a crash might bring.

Built into this jacket’s elbows, shoulders, and back is D30 Armor, a soft and flexible substance that molds itself to the shape of your body. Upon impact, however, D30 Armor molecules lock together to absorb and distribute the impact energy. This innovative technology protects the areas most likely to sustain injury in a crash.

For increased visibility, 3M Scotchlite piping was integrated across the chest, back, and along the arms so drivers and other riders can see you in any riding condition. A standard collar is included with this jacket, but it is brace-compatible, too – so if you choose extra protection, this jacket will cooperate.

The Adventure Rally Jacket didn’t stop with high-quality materials, however. Innovative new features, like the first-of-its-kind fully integrated harness system, keep you more comfortable while riding. The harness allows the weight of the jacket to be distributed more evenly across the body – handy not just because of the heavy duty materials, but also because it replaces a fanny pack by including storage areas along the back and sides. On warm days you can get air flowing with the Adventure Rally Jacket’s ventilation system. It has GoreTex lock-out closures, so when zipped up they won’t leak moisture into the garment. Additionally, KLIM integrated a water bladder system – no more fumbling with or losing yours.
