Riding off-road can give you and your bike a beating, which is why you opt for the best protection. KLIM’s new Traverse jacket is what you need for your rugged adventures. The GoreTex shell is waterproof and breathable, but features abrasion-resistant Denier Cordura -- which was developed specifically for off-road riding gear – in high wear areas. Arms are articulated for increased comfort and movement, while pockets were sewn in for shoulder and elbow pads for those who want to use them. Reflective 3M Scotchlite panels were integrated for increased visibility to drivers and other riders.
Because this jacket is designed for a wide range of weather conditions, venting is important. It provides vents both under the arm and in the back. This keeps air moving instead of trapping it inside your jacket. Both of the vent zippers, as well as the front zipper, are YKK and protected from inclement weather by storm flaps.
The collar of the KLIM Traverse is fleece lined, and the jacket’s liner is a moisture-wicking mesh polyester. The garment is designed to fit close to the body to reduce drag, but was intended to be worn over a polyester base layer.
This is a high-quality, durable garment that protects from weather and riding mishaps while keeping you comfortable. It’s a great jacket without silly graphics – perfect for serious riding.
