We have used this product and been amazed. When a rock punched a hole in the side of the clutch cover, causing oil to leak out, we thought it meant the ride was over. But we laid the bike on its side, prepped the surface by cleaning it with some gas, kneaded up a small portion and packed the epoxy into the hole and crack. The motor was still warm so the epoxy kicked off immediately, allowing us to enjoy the rest of the ride. That bike was ridden in the same condition for a year with no issues.

Amazing!

When I put a more powerful motor into my '68 Beetle, the intake manifold would not marry snugly with the block, leaving a gap on one side that prevented the engine from running. I tried bending the manifold, to no avail; so, in desperation, I packed Quik Steel around the joint and the engine purred like a kitten. However, since the epoxy was right against the hot engine block, I didn't hold out much hope for a lasting repair. To my surprise, the fix has remained as good as new -- for over fifteen years! 'Nuff said.
