AltRider Crash Test - Part Two

Dec 23, 2013 // The AltRider Garage //

This is becoming a bad habit – AltRider’s protection accessories for the R1200GSW have once again been put to the ultimate test. While filming a recent video for our full line of parts, there were a few “outtakes” showing just how robust AltRider products really are. There’s no doubt that the GS would have suffered significantly more damage without the protection provided by AltRider Upper and Lower Crash Bars – along with some coverage that surprised even us.

Have any “oops” riding videos of your own? Share them in the comments below!

Not only does the new R12 look meaner AND leaner, but your new bars design compliments it perfectly. You guys have done a great job! Loved the video, hope no one blows up your super secret spot, that's quite a gem.

I actually laughed out loud on the rollover. Glad to see the rider wasn't dinged. Testosterone & pistons once again team up for great entertainment value. A 360 side roll in steep gravel could become Altrider's trademark test of bike protection part performance. Mightily impressive outcome!

Doh! You should leave that stuff as a trailer to your product videos. My friends and I have been equally crazy over many years. It is funny the things that survive, and how "Oopsie" can be a learning experience. Best part is not that the bike did so well. Your rider also escaped with nothing more than bruises from what could have been a life changing roll-over!
