High Time

High Time

On Monte Bellino, located in the southern part of the Western Alps (Italy/France). This was the highest point (2840 m/9318 ft) we reached during our 4-days off-road tour in August 2014. An unforgettable ride up and a breathtaking view! (Please note the AltRider Skid Plate that decks my F800GS :-))
VROD at The Canyon

VROD at The Canyon

On my way from Dallas to Sturgis (via Los Angeles), with this stop at the Grand Canyon (South Rim).

Switchback Heaven

Switchback Heaven

This climb is the last leg to the 100 mile White Rim Trail in Canyonlands National Park, Utah. These are called the Schaffer Switchbacks.
The Road To Lares

The Road To Lares

The photo is the beginning of the dirt road that leads into the Lares Valley and the town of Lares in Peru. The valley is beautiful and this section of road was fun to ride. I took this photo in July of 2014 during a two week ride with a friend that covered 2,000 km (1,243 miles) of central and southern Peru.
Cordillera Urubamba en moto

Cordillera Urubamba en moto

I took this photo in July 2014 during a trip to Peru. Cordillera Urubamba is a mountain near Cuzco, Peru and this photo was taken on a ride into the Lares Valley. More information on my ride can be found at www.dreamyourride.com.

Loveland Pass!

Loveland Pass!

Taken June 25, 2014, I rode through nine western states over 4,500 miles over two weeks, crossing the Continental Divide several times. Riding through Colorado was the highlight!
Huandoy Mountain

Huandoy Mountain

At 20,981 ft Nevado Huandoy is a treat to see on a clear day. Make sure to wear warm clothes on a windy day as it gets quite nippy at the pass (15,750 ft)... we were freezing! but happy with the views.
Cordillera Blanca

Cordillera Blanca

At the summit known as Paso Portachuelo in Ancash, Peru. Words can't describe the beauty so I won't try here ;)

Lush Andes

Lush Andes

The northern Peruvian Andes in the Amazonas region offer a vast number of mountain roads that I were made with motorcycles in mind :)
Gocta Falls

Gocta Falls

Gotta Falls are a hidden gem in the Chachapoyas area in Peru. The views of one of the tallest waterfalls in the world are jaw-dropping!
Getting Lost

Getting Lost

Getting lost is not that bad really. We 'found' this fun road after ridding for many hours to a dead-end road in Peru. Even knowing now that there's no way through, we would definitely do it again!
Admiring the views

Admiring the views

What can I say, Peru's Andes are just beautiful. This was taken near Aricamampa in the Pataz region.
Stop and enjoy

Stop and enjoy

Near Urpay in La Libertad, Peru... the riding slows down to a snail pace because one must stop several times to enjoy the views :)
