To our fellow riders;
When rescheduling the 2020 Taste of Dakar from April to October, we had fully anticipated the pandemic to be under control and we could safely host the event as planned. Unfortunately, due to the current nature of the pandemic, we do not feel we can host this event without putting our customers and fellow riders at risk, as such, we have decided to cancel Taste of Dakar 2020.
Please join us in Spring of 2021 as we return to bring you the most exciting year yet of Taste of Dakar! Keep your eyes peeled for newsletters with updates!

Training with Rawhyde Adventures:
We are thrilled to be partnering with RawHyde Adventure Training for our Clinics at Taste of Dakar! RawHyde is one of the only BMW certified training centers in the US. We will be offering two levels of clinics on-site during our event:
Our Intro Training Clinic (LVL 1) will include skill building exercises such as: Basic throttle and clutch techniques, proper braking and slide control – both front and rear, turn initiation and body position for turning, and basic turning techniques. We will break for lunch and follow up the clinic with a guided trail ride, aiming to put those newly learned skills to use.
Our Intermediate Training Clinic (LVL 2) will build on the basics, polishing your existing skills with some “refresher” exercises to include turns, figure 8’s, hard braking and advanced clutch control. We will also cover things like: Skid turns… Lock up the rear wheel then initiate a turn with the wheel locked, as well as sand basics and riding over obstacles. A short break for lunch and we will end the day with a guided trail ride on one of the intermediate GPS Routes, where you can build on your newly learned skills.
